As we continue to follow a case study approach addressing all the various considerations associated with a successful exit. Our ‘client’ is a partnership that wants to position itself for an exit in two to three years. As with most companies, there are some issues that need to be resolved to make the transition, and ultimate exit, a success.
Owners and entrepreneurs are often not aware of the various options they may have to solve their capital and growth needs. While an outright sale to a competitor is an obvious option, other paths may be available, including a partial recapitalization, management buyout, debt financing or equity partners. What other creative alternatives are available to these owners? Once they are exposed to these options, what makes most sense? Join us as we explore the various considerations the owners should examine before proceeding.
