Speaker:

Robert “Mr. Pancake” Fleming, owner of the multi-award winning and nationally recognized Magnolia Pancake Haus restaurants and event hall, Magnolia Halle.

Pancake S.A. Inc. operates The Magnolia Pancake Haus, known as the premier breakfast and lunch place in San Antonio. The restaurant is the only Zagat rated breakfast place in the nation, was effusively praised by Guy Fieri on Diners Drive Ins and Dives, and is ranked among the top ten in America by CitySearch and Travelocity among others.

Robert opened the restaurant in 2000 and has enjoyed great success. The “original” (actually across the lot from its predecessor) location seats 190 and a second location on Huebner in the Medical Center, opened in 2012, brings the total staff to over 100. In 2013 Robert added a beer garden to the Huebner location, and in 2016 they constructed an event hall for over 200 guests.

“They” now includes Robert’s daughter, Tricia Fleming. A graduate of Marquette in engineering with a Master’s degree in business, Tricia was the general contractor for the Halle on Huebner, and is now the Operations Manager for all locations.
