Margaret Fischer is the founder and a Managing Director of Cortland Valuation Group, Inc. She has 30 years of experience performing valuation and transaction advisory services for mergers and acquisitions, tax and financial reporting compliance, and litigation support. Her casework includes the valuation of business interests, derivative interests, securities, intangible assets and intellectual property, as well as real property and real property interests. Akila Narayanan
, CFA

Akila Narayanan is a Senior Director at Cortland Valuation Group, Inc. She has extensive experience providing valuation services to private and public companies for tax and financial reporting purposes, with significant work in intangible asset valuations and emerging company valuations with complex capital structures. She is a member of the Appraisal Issues Task Force (AITF), a voluntary group of valuation professionals seeking to improve the practice.  Full bio.
