With the 2018 Tax Reform Act, Congress passed the biggest tax reform legislation in more than three decades. In this session, we will hear about what owners need to start to do to make a disposition of their company in the most tax efficient manner. Given the dramatic changes in the tax laws, all owners need to revisit their tax planning to abide by the new regulations.

Joel is a member of the Hospitality and Consumer Industry practices and has served clients in industries including professional services, hospitality, manufacturing, retail, apparel, consumer products, and distribution. Joel has a proactive role in providing CohnReznick’s clients with efficient compliance services and effective tax planning.

Joel has served privately held, middle market companies and public companies throughout the Tri-State area. His areas of expertise include mergers and acquisitions, assistance with federal and state tax examinations, tax due diligence, efficient tax compliance management, net operating loss planning, ASC 740 compliance and review and, most recently, compliance with ASC 740-10 and applying the Sarbanes-Oxley Act to tax operations.
