How should owners think about family ownership for members active within the business versus those who do not work with the company? How should an owner weigh the current company demands when contemplating transferring leadership to family members or non-family members?
With ever changing tax laws, what are the best mechanism to make family transfers? What methods are most tax efficient but do not eliminate the operating control the owner maintained over the past decades? How does specific trust structures help in this process?
