Ben Gurwitz, CFP - Senior Wealth Manager, COO & Partner, Financial Wealth Advisors

Ben Gurwitz is a 2002 Graduate of Trinity University. He majored in Business with a minor in Economics. Immediately after graduation Ben started in financial services and achieved the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER credential in 2008. In the same year, he went to work at Financial Life Advisors where he is now a firm principal and in charge of all personal financial planning. Ben has been an active member in the Financial Planning Association of San Antonio & South Texas serving as President in 2014. He has also served on the Board of the San Antonio Estate Planner’s Council twice and is scheduled to be President in 2022.


Kirk Francis, CFP, AIF - CEO, CCO & Partner, Financial Life Advisors

Kirk Francis is a Texas Aggie, a Certified Financial Planner and a 44 year veteran of the financial services business. He was one of the youngest branch managers for Dean Witter (now under the Moran Stanley brand) at the age of 27. After spending another 13 years working in management for Wall Street firms he decided that there had to be a more objective and less conflicted way to serve clients. He founded Cross Financial Services, A Registered Investment Advisory firm that focused on Financial Planning. Over the next 23 years the firm grew and added 401(k) fiduciary consulting and Exit planning to its services. In January 2017 Kirk, concluded an exit plan on himself and merged his company into Financial Life Advisors where is a principal and the CEO. Kirk has been active in community and industry service throughout his career. He has previously served as Councilman and then Mayor of Hill Country Village, as a Commissioner on The Bexar County Sheriff’s Civil Service Commission, Chair of the National Committee on Tax and Retirement of the Financial Planning Association, and others. He currently serves as the Chairman of Zoning Commission for Hill Country Village and the Chairman of the Bexar County Housing Authority.
