HAPPY NEW YEAR FELLOW XPX MEMBERS AND GUESTS!

We are most excited to announce our 2017 Meeting Year. For the first time ever, we are using a new Case Study approach as the basis for each of our monthly programs. Join us along the exciting path of "Telecom Partners", as it's owner seeks to sell her successful northern Virginia company to a carefully chosen strategic buyer. We will work together to understand the strengths and weaknesses of Telecom, and help owner Tanya discover the strategic solutions that can improve the weaknesses. By the conclusion of our program year, as would any good consultant, we will have supported Tanya to attract the best buyer and achieve her owner objectives, and yes, for the highest fair market value!

Our 2017 program is designed to have more participatory involvement with audience round-table and panel discussions. Why should you participate? Many reasons, but for starters:

  • Demonstrate what you bring to the table as you share your expertise
  • Spot potential partners among the membership as they display their niche knowledge
  • Learn some of the more obscure intracacies around exit - issues that apply well beyond our Telecom example
  • Get to know members you haven't had time to set one-on-one deep dives with
  • Roll up your sleeves and exercise your mind alongside longtime colleagues and friends!

You have to do your part as well. Please print the Case Study, read it, and bring a copy to our next meeting on January 19th, so you will be ready for our first round-table.

And if you have not completed your enrollment for 2017, now is the time. We are always seeking to expand our roster of new members - so introduce a colleague to our group!

Speakers:

Sarah M. Cato, Director Business Strategies Group- First Financial Group

Having developed and/or served as the CEO of 4 mid-market companies prior to becoming a Financial Advisor over 14 years ago, I believe that only by understanding and integrating one’s financial strategies from a 360 degree perspective, can the best possible outcome be achieved. Because a business owner’s most important asset is usually their business, this holistic view is particularly important in helping my business clients achieve optimal financial security. Protecting and enhancing equity and turning it into cash at the right time can often mean the difference between a secure financial future and a future filled with worry.

Pat Ennis-  Founder, ENNIS Legacy Partners
