When selling a business, there are many assets that the buyer is purchasing, but some of the most important are often not optimized when preparing for a sale. In this discussion, we’ll cover all of the key assets that buyers are investing in, then focus attention on managing two key areas that can usually make a tremendous difference in the ultimate price received, and how to optimize their contribution to the sale.

Our speaker:

Daniel Ceglia, Strategic Business Management Group

Dan's entrepreneurial instinct led him to open a retail business in the Deptford Mall in 1976, later selling it to an employee. Concurrently he opened a chain of convenience stores located in the lobbies of buildings throughout Camden and Burlington counties in New Jersey.

Dan began making acquisitions and executing “turn-a-rounds” in companies located throughout the country. Serving as President and/or CEO for several companies, he became an operations leader in entrepreneurial and global business development.

In 2006 Dan founded Strategic Business Management Group, LLC, a consulting, executive mentoring and business coaching firm facilitating clients in the Philadelphia-South Jersey, Middle-Atlantic markets while continuing to retain a few international clients. The firm’s primary focus is on assisting Owners, CEOs, Presidents and Senior Management in reestablishing firm business practices that increase operational efficiencies and corporate profitability. SBMG also focuses on Succession Planning and Exit Strategies for business owners.
